YYC Axolotl Sanctuary gratefully accepts donations of new or gently used supplies to help care for rescued axolotls. Commonly needed items include:

• Aquariums and tank stands of all sizes
• Sponge filters, canister filters, and air pumps
• Aquarium chillers and fans
• New and unopened water conditioners and testing kits
• Bare-bottom tank supplies, hides, and decor
• Indian almond leaves and beneficial bacteria products
• New and unused Axolotl-safe substrate
• Frozen bloodworms, pellets, repashy grub pie and other axolotl-safe foods (like live red wrigglers or night crawlers)
• Buckets, siphons, tubs, and maintenance equipment
• Towels
• Gift cards to pet or aquarium stores
• Monetary donations to support veterinary care and rescue operations

Please ensure all donated equipment is clean and in safe working condition.
