Step 1: Learn Before You ApplyWe ask all potential adopters to review our care guidelines to ensure a clear understanding of axolotl needs, including tank requirements, water quality, temperature control, diet, and lifespan.

Step 5: Adoption Agreement & Fee
All adoptions include a signed agreement outlining care expectations and a commitment to the animal's well-being. An adoption fee applies to help cover the cost of rescue, rehabilitation, and ongoing care.
Step 3: Setup Verification
Axolotls require a fully established environment before they can safely transition to a new home. Adopters must provide proof of a completed tank setup, including appropriate filtration, safe substrate, hiding spaces, and a reliable method of maintaining cool, stable water temperatures.
Step 6: Ongoing Support
Our support doesn't end at adoption. We remain available to provide guidance, answer questions, and support you throughout your axolotl's life.
